Her wealth of experience and knowledge draws from her long-time passion for health and her commitment to her field of expertise. Gwynne is educated in a wide range of disciplines from Eastern and Western traditions. Her broad experience and self practice is evident in her inspirational teaching over a wide variety of classes, courses and international yoga retreats.
Gwynne is fully qualified and certified with Inspya Yoga School and Ryoho Yoga School and has studied Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha yoga for many years with a wide range of teachers from around the world. Gwynne studies and travels regularly to attend courses and workshops to update her knowledge and bring depth of knowledge to a creative health practice.
Highly regarded on Sydney’s northern beaches, Gwynne teaches 5 elements Japanese or Seasonal yoga combined with foundation of Hatha Yoga. Breath awareness with movement, to bring fluidity and freedom of mind and body, emotional balance and confidence. Gwynne’s creativity in teaching classes evolves with the seasons, time of day and individual needs. Gwynne creates an atmosphere of calm in every class. A natural-born teacher, well known for her passionate, dynamic and inspirational style of teaching, which incorporates the seasonal elements of nature with the foundation of hatha yoga.
Also a freelance writer, Gwynne regularly contributes to the Manly Daily, Pittwater Spirit blog, Body+Soul in the Sunday Telegraph, Woman’s Day, and other magazines, on a wide topic range covering all aspects of health and well-being. Gwynne is writing a recipe book called Real Food, a seasonal collection of recipes and easy health information that draws on her wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity in the kitchen.
