Creativity

My philosophy is that our greatest creation is our own life and how we live it. We don’t need to go to the museums to find great artistic inspiration, it is all around us. We only need to stop and observe our own surroundings both physical and metaphysical. That moment between order and chaos, chaos and order, is where real creativity begins. Art is a leap of faith, a release. It is that moment of complete abandonment from our daily goings on, abandonment of what we think is possible. Anything else is production and whilst true craftsmanship is required to achieve excellence, it is art that inspires, ignites, transcends and brings wonder, joy and happiness.

Biography

Artist, imagineer, illustrator, photographer, poet, landscape architect and creative designer, I am developing my own form of expression where the various media and dimensions I have learnt throughout my diverse career merge together to create a new aesthetic universe others affectionately call “Suzi’s Bubble”

Experience
Landscape Architect – company director and designer for parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, urban design, urban waterfront, residential and pool design for local, regional and international projects including design and installation of public art works, signage and sculpture.

Tourism Attractions and Event Management – co-odinator for local school, community, state arts and craft events and competitions.

Tropics Flowers Fruit and Fine Art – business creator and director specialising in importing, selling, designing tropical flowers and arrangements for personal and corporate events and weddings, through local and regional markets and an internet website.

Art Tuition – private, group and event tutor for children, adults and teenagers covering a wide range of skills from detailed technical expertise to right brain, intuitive techniques used to explore the inner landscape and story.
