“As clocks are changed and days get longer,
flags are flown and blues get lighter.
The full moon comes and spring rains fall
and frogs emit their nightly call.
The HSC and Halloween,
lighter frocks and some suncream.
But still it’s not the summer yet.
Heat on dusk and white ant clouds,
BBQs and lawn mowers loud.
All this and more is yet to come
so too the deafening cicada’s drum.”

If you get a chance to follow the links to facebook you’ll see some creative responses to this poem including a photo from New Jersey which led me to start this painting and today a story from Phoenix by someone missing the waves here at Avalon Beach. It is an exicitng moment that both groups I started have momentarily synchronised all by the light of the moon
