1000 words for Summer project

Started in the Summer of 09/10, this project is all about capturing the essence of Summer through words, phrases, images and other creative expressions created in my studio, online or in the community. This Summer 11/12 (Year 3), as well as all the online offerings, there will be a special series of Summer Art Classes run from my studio at Siesta (1-3pm) + Twilight (7-9pm) most days from 12th Dec – 26th Jan. Run more as an open studio than a course, you will be given fun activities based on this project, or you can develop artworks of your own over the Summer. There will also be “en plein air ” painting days/evenings as well as half/full day workshops. You may attend one class or as many as you wish. Siblings, friends and families of multiple generations are encouraged to attend together. All levels of abilities are welcome, especially complete beginners, to what is sure to be a fun, friendly memorable Summer.
